Have you ever travelled to a new place, and just immediately felt at home?
Some people have moved to a different city, state or even country because being drawn to that feeling of being home.
For me, it is London, UK.
I went there for a week’s vacation to celebrate my birthday. I live in a very warm state in the US, and stepping off the plane to a cold, dreary and windy environment was a shock… But I loved it.
I immediately took to the fantastic public transportation- buses and the amazing tube and train system.
We have terrible public transport where I live, so I found it so nice to not have to drive anywhere.
Hearing the beautiful British accents, and watching their hilarious game shows… I was head over heels in love with this city.
Before the vacation was over, I was already planning my next trip.
Unfortunately, the 2020 and the rescheduled trip for 2021 was postponed, but I still find a way to keep myself connected to London and the UK.
I follow youtubers from England.
And one of my most recent finds was a fantastic app where I can watch British television! I have laughed more in the past 2 weeks than I have all year!
